Dorothy Who.....is perm!!!

I was thrilled to walk into my local Sally's and see that Dorothy Who, had a perm. home in the racks with the rest of the China Glaze family! Since I had never tried it, I went ahead and grabbed a bottle. I have a minor problem, with layering almost every new polish I get, over black. Well here she is, 1 coat, over Sinful's Black on Black.

Just playing around with my Scotch tape......

I'm always trying to find new designs I can do using tape, so here are a few that I did, just messing around.

This one was done with the teal glitter/metallic that cae in the CVS pack of 4 & my regular Sinful black

This was done with the silver and purple from the CVS pack as well.

This one I did using Twinkle Twinkle from Claires & Sinfuls What's Your Name, only because I grabbed that thinking it was my black :(  This idea looked WAY better in my mind, lol.

Just a few L.A. Girls polish swatches..

I shop on Forever 21's site for clothes a lot, and decided to pick up some polishes that they had on there. Oh and I must say, the way they named the polishes is uber boring. No real names, just color descriptions.
So here are the L.A. Girls I got

This one is from the Matte collection and it's just called Hot Pink. I love this!!

Lavander - Since this was soooo sheer, I layered it over black

Bronze

Pink Steel

Iron Red

and my fave from the group. It wasn't labeled, but I asked MUA, and they all said it was called Groupie. You can kind os see the purple flashes in the picture, but trust me, It's much more obvious IRL!

A VERY quick & dirty Blacklight mani............................

So after doing my kitty claws with the blacklight mani (see most recent post) I wanted to play some more. I was running out of time last night, and just decided to try it with a Konad. I started by painting my nails, black, then did a coat of OPI DS Original, topped that off with 1 coat of the Blacklight polish. After that all dried, I Konaded with my Sinful black, and did the houndstooth design. I did attempt to put a coat of SV over it all, but it totally EFFED up the design, and smeared the blacklight polish all over the nail FAIL!! So I had to re-do them, and just forget about it being shiny. Oh well, it's still so much fun.

It did come out messier than I normally like, but it was just a quick trial. The whole thing took me around 20 min.

In the regular light

This is what was seen in the black light

Ta-da!! Hope you guys enjoy this!

So for Halloween I am going to be a kitty. I have found my PUUURRRRFECT mani! The hubbs and I have 4, 5 feet tall black lights, that will be present at our party on Sat.

Here is what you see, in normal light. I used Sinful's Black on Black, Sally Hansen Byte and Cabaret Blacklight Magic polish

Then, when the partay begins, everyone will be seeing.............MY CLAWS!!!
(my camera was not happy with how much it was glowing, they really do look amazing IRL)

My test Halloween Mani............

This is just a test, and I really like it. Thank goodness, I have more of these stickers, cause they rock!

I needed to wait for the Wet Cement to fully dry before putting them on, so i could have pushed them down better, but oh well. It's coming off anyways, just had to show you guys.

I can't wait to do this one for real!!
Oh and the decals came in the Color Club Bewitching set.

OPI Ink (I always think of Finding Nemo, when I look at this name)

Just to get it out.......I made my BF , now hubby, take me to see Finding Nemo in theatres 4 times!!!! I have never been to a movie twice in theatres, but this one, I was obsessed with! Okay, whew, 1 confession down, a bazzillion to go.

I cannot believe I had had this in my untrieds FOREVER!! I have to say though, it looks better in the bottle in my opinion. It's still a nice formula and very pretty on the nail. Here it is, 1 coat layered over black.

Orly Goth.....

If you don't know by now, black polish is my all time favorite go to polish. I think it looks so chic on nails, that are not too long, and it goes with everything.

Here is Goth. It's a black cream with silver shimmer. I found it at my local Sally's in a tiny little, new, stand, that also had just a plain black, and an orange. Sorry, don't remember the names!

Another Scotch Tape mani!!

This pink, has no name :( I picked it up at my CVS in a set of 4 for only $2.99!!!!! You can't beat that, here is what the set looked like, and later in the week, I will do swatches of them all.

They say metallic, but the pink finsh reminds me of the glass flecks, similar to Zoya, Charla.

Here is how I placed my tape. Once you paint your base color, and wait for that to dry, you can place your tape on your nail.

Then, when you get it placed, where you would like, you put the next color on. As soon as you do that, pull the tape off. Only do 1 nail at a time. Otherwise the polish could dry to the tape, and pull up.

Here is my final design

It's not my best application or straightest lines, I wasn't feeling to well, but I still like it!
